welcome to the

The Mother Line Story Project is a storytelling performance that brings together female performers from every walk of life.

Universal stories that connect us all.

Think the Moth Radio Hour meets Ancestry.com

World Premier. Multi-lingual. Cross Cultural. About women. For everyone.

By amplifying women’s voices, past and present, we connect artists with audiences all over the world. The stories are shared through our youtube channel (show me that), podcast (I want to listen), and touring live performances (I want to see that).

(October 2017: The American Embassy in Cairo sponsors Mother Line’s travel to Egypt.)

Last year MotherLine was sponsored by @USEmbassyCairo to work with SabeelfortheArts and 13 incredible Cairo-based performers. Please enjoy this video of the work we did there. Photo: Hana's Mom, Hala

How Does It Work?

We Refine. We Discuss. We Build an Ensemble.

Photos of our third anniversary fundraiser. Oh, what a night! Thank you to (women run) Town Stages for hosting, Sokoloff Arts for sponsoring, Will O’Hare for photography, our incredible cast, and the entire community that came out to support.
